Before launching Wonderfish, James spent nearly two decades inside some of the world’s most influential business media organizations. He began his career in marketing at The Economist and later spent ten years at Forbes, where he rose to become Executive Director of Integrated Marketing.

During his time at Forbes, James worked at the intersection of content, media, sales, and partnerships, helping global brands, founders, and thought leaders turn powerful stories into measurable growth. He also played a role in launching major initiatives such as the Forbes Under 30 Summit and the podcast Steve Forbes: What's Ahead. His work has focused on designing campaigns that do more than capture attention, they shift perception and build lasting influence.
