Barry Walton is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, author, and storyteller whose work has earned widespread recognition for its emotional depth and cinematic impact. As the founder and creative director of Walton Film Studios, he creates powerful stories that inspire audiences, elevate brands, and bring meaningful ideas to life.
With five documentaries to his name, Barry has built a reputation for crafting compelling visual narratives around the world, from the Himalayas and Italy to Hawaii and across the United States. His acclaimed documentary Empty America earned 16 Best Documentary awards, further cementing his place as a rising force in documentary filmmaking. His career also includes an Emmy Award for sports programming, along with creative work for organizations such as the National Hockey League, the Detroit Pistons, and leading global brands.
In addition to his filmmaking, Barry serves as an adjunct professor at Eastern Florida State College, where he mentors the next generation of filmmakers and visual storytellers.
